Guidelines
- Think very carefully before restructuring the default heading size etc- it's been well worked out with respect to the overall feel of the Mediawiki.
- Emphasize clarity rather than style.
- To access expanded editing toools, after logging in, go to "My preferences" at the top right. Then, clicking on the editing tab that appears in the new menu bar allows you to customize and expand the toolbar that appears when editing. Bullets, numbers for lists, headings, font sizes can be made available as well as access to special characters and more.
CSS tips
Font size and color
To do this: your text do
<span style="font-size:larger;color:orange">your text</span>
It's recommended though that you create a class in the shared CSS (see also link below, admin required). to do this:
<span class="big_and_orange">your text</span>
And you'll get this your text as well.
