Edit

The '''Edit''' link found in the [[navigation bar]] leads to the edit page that provides access to all of the different pages open to editing. The edit page, also known as SelectTypeEdit or Select Type Edit, is a direct path to editing Species Files and requires permissions granted by an [[User_groups#Administrator|administrator]]. Before editing it is necessary to [[Logging into a Species File|log in]] by clicking on the icon on the top left corner. An [[User_groups#Editor|editor]] has the capacity to add and delete as well as edit data.  Also, clicking on hyperlinks found on pages often leads directly to specific edit pages.
